Our Track
Originally built in , the track was extended in , and renewed with laser-cut gauge sleepers in .
In the steaming bays, there are 240, 24, and 12 volt supplies, demineralized water, and coal (water and coal are also available at the station). Locomotives can be unloaded by a lifting turntable; this also moves locomotives onto the track that feeds onto the main track. There will be members to operate these for you.
There are eight main signals on the track:
- red/green, just before the bendy beam
- red/green, at the entrance to the tunnel
- red/green, after the large bridge
- double amber, opposite the steaming bays
- red/amber, on approach to the signal box
- red/green, at the signal box
- red/amber, in the station
- red/amber/green, at the exit end of the station
The signals are automatic, and may display a stop (red), caution (amber), or go (green) aspect.
